I haven't been called for jury duty yet, but I know it's coming. What I've always been told was to state something racist and they won't pick you, but it looks like those days of saying something racist just to avoid jury duty are coming to an end. Enter Juror # 799 an Asian woman from Brooklyn New York. She was selected for jury duty on death penalty case for crime boss Vinny Basciano. Her statements pissed off the judge so bad she now has jury duty for life! Well maybe not life (that just sounded better) but until further notice.
