A Message For All Humanity

Charles Spencer Chaplin is probably best known to some for his comedic work in silent films, but he was also a writer, director, actor, editor, producer, etc. In the movie "The Great Dictator" a satire on Nazis in Germany, Chaplin plays a poor Jewish barber who bears a resembles the dictator of Tomania, "who believes in a pure Aryan state and the decimation of the Jews".

In this film Chaplin gives a speech whose content was powerful for his time period but also for the times we are living in today. Below is a video someone created using the speech as the foundation which is coupled with footage from major events from today that really demonstrates just how timeless and relevant this speech truly is for all humanity. Toxic Mold Killed Brittany Murphy & Husband

A simple Youtube search on Brittany Murphy will bring back clips of her movies, interviews and of course the ever so popular Illuminati related material for the entertainment of conspiracy theorists. I'll admit even the Illuminati stories of Brittany being controlled and ultimately offered up as a blood sacrifice seems to make more sense then what's being reported now as her cause of death.

I'm not questioning the fact that there is a such thing as toxic mold and that it is extremely dangerous, but before death occurs there are certain symptoms that surface first:

According to the EPA,

"Molds are usually not a problem indoors, unless mold spores land on a wet or damp spot and begin growing. Molds have the potential to cause health problems. Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions), irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins). Inhaling or touching mold or mold spores may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Allergic responses include hay fever-type symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, red eyes, and skin rash (dermatitis). Allergic reactions to mold are common. They can be immediate or delayed. Molds can also cause asthma attacks in people with asthma who are allergic to mold. In addition, mold exposure can irritate the eyes, skin, nose, throat, and lungs of both mold-allergic and non-allergic people. Symptoms other than the allergic and irritant types are not commonly reported as a result of inhaling mold. Research on mold and health effects is ongoing. This brochure provides a brief overview; it does not describe all potential health effects related to mold exposure. For more detailed information consult a health professional. You may also wish to consult your state or local health department."

'Tis The Season For Winter Storms

I was cutting the grass and raking the leaves on Monday. Yes you read correctly, deciding whether or not to put out grass seeds in the winter is one of the luxuries of living in the south. I haven't been in a good snow storm since I left the north. Completely oblivious to there being snow elsewhere I found out that at least 5 states have been hit pretty bad by winter storms--and when I say bad, I mean bad. Unfortunately, the storm claimed six lives.

"Authorities still were reporting snow drifts of up to 10 feet high in southeast Colorado, and Texas officials warned drivers to stay off the road in the Panhandle so crews would have a clear path to remove ice and snow. Major highways in the western half of the Oklahoma Panhandle remained closed.

Still, officials reopened Interstate 40 in the Texas Panhandle and New Mexico, and portions of Interstate 70 in western Kansas that had been closed. New Mexico reopened a closed section of Interstate 25, the main highway from Santa Fe to the Colorado line after crews cleared drifts as high as 5 feet. The storm dumped as much as 15 inches of snow as it hit parts of five states.

At least 40 people were stranded at the Longhorn Motel on Main Street in Boise City, Okla., where manager Pedro Segovia said blowing snow had created drifts 2- and 3-feet high and closed the main road.

"Some people cannot even get out of their houses. There is too much snow," Segovia said. "It's was blowing." source -Huffington Post

WTF Files!!!! More Than Seven Days Of Food Makes You A Suspect For Terrorism

If you missed Senator Rand Paul's speech on the Terrorist Detainee Policy, you better take a few minutes to watch this video clip. We already know that the U.S. has been distancing itself from the Constitution for years, but Senator Paul sheds some light on a frightening look into how the government characterizes who terrorist suspects in this country may be. Is Fast Food Chicken Really Chicken?

According to an article in Organic Authority it takes approximately 39 ingredients to make the McDonalds Chicken McNugget. Here's what the site has to say about Chicken McNuggets,

"...chicken only accounts for about 50% of a Chicken McNugget. The other 50% includes a large percentage of corn derivatives, sugars, leavening agents and other completely synthetic ingredients, meaning that parts of the nugget do not come from a field or farm at all. They come from a petroleum plant. Hungry?

Scariest perhaps is the fact that this recipe is a new and improved, “healthier” Chicken McNugget launched in 2003 after a federal judge called the deep-fried poultry bites “a McFrankenstein creation of various elements not utilized by the home cook.” Also terrifying is the fact that these McFrankenuggets are overwhelmingly marketed to children who love their fun shapes and kid-friendly size.

While McDonald’s is of course the poster child for fast food ire, if you look at the nutritional information for chicken at any fast food restaurant, the ingredient list will be dozens of items longer than the egg, flour, chicken and oil recipe you might use at home."

Perhaps McDonalds should label it's food with more accurate descriptive names like 'McNuggets', or 'McMystery Nuggets' instead of Chicken McNuggets. Click here to learn more about what else is in fast food chicken.

WTF Files...Are Teachers, Losing Their Minds?

What is going on in this crazy world? I know teachers are overworked and underpaid but have they lost their everlasting minds?

Okay let's begin with a few stories that caught my eye. First we have Irina Kristy, a Boston Math Professor at to Universities allegedly ran a meth lab along with her son from their 2nd floor apartment. Read more here.

How about the infamous Sharron Smalls (no relation to Biggie Smalls), principle of Jane Addams High School in New York? Already in trouble for possible credit-padding (for you slow folks out there that's when students are given credits for classes they didn't take); but now eyebrows were raised because of a racy Facebook picture show posted to here profile. The picture features a topless man pouring what looks to me like chocolate sauce on her and him. To be honest, the pic made me realize 2 things: #1 my principals were all old and decrepit and chocolate sauce on them would have been a horrible image I wouldn't want to see; and #2 people STILL haven't learned to use Facebook's privacy features yet.

Finally, we have the mother load of all B.S caused by a teacher. A 9 year old tells a friend he thinks a teacher is "cute" and a teacher overhears the comment and get the boy in trouble. What kind of trouble? How does a 2 day suspension sound? Oh and if that's not enough the suspension was for sexual harassment.

So the question I pose to my readers is what is going on in this world? Are people losing their minds or what?

Howard Tate Dies at 72

"Howard Tate, one of soul music's shining voices, died Friday, Dec. 2, succumbing to lung cancer after a long battle. He was 72.

Tate enjoyed a briefly successful career in the late 1960s and early 1970s, recording hits like 'Get It While You Can,' before sliding into obscurity, where he toiled for decades. He first achieved success in 1966 with the single 'Ain't Nobody Home,' and as he told NPR, success took him by surprise."

WTF Files...7 Year Old Investigated For Sexual Harassment

Here's the deal, boy gets bullied, boy kicks bully in the balls, boy ends up in trouble for sexual harassment. This is just a glimpse into why this country is so jacked up. The problem is that 7 year old Mark Curran was choked by a boy on the bus, and when he couldn't breath he kicked the universal "let me go button" on a man, the testicles. When the school learned about this they slapped a sexual harassment tag on the matter against Curran.

I think the the school officials all need to be kicked in the balls on this one. This was a clear case of self defense, and last I heard choking someone is inappropriately touching someone.... Read more here!

After watching this video I realized two things: 1) Bob has no clue what child support is for and 2) Sheree set this up so the video can and will be used against him in court. I can understand not wanting to give his ex-wife a dime, but if I was him I would provide whatever they need and give it to them...not her. Youngest Black CEO, Next Bernie Madoff

Move over Bernie Madoff, there may be a new Ponzi schemer in town. Known as the youngest black CEO of a public company, Ephren Taylor is in a bit of trouble. Take a look at the class action suit against him here.

The Huffington Post reports:

"Earlier this year, some of those allegations surfaced on YouTube where Bishop Eddie Long made an appeal to Taylor to return money to members of his 25,000-member Atlanta mega church, New Birth Missionary Baptist, who had invested money through City Capital Corp., the company for which Taylor previously served as CEO.

According to the Associated Press, Taylor visited the church in 2009 and held a financial seminar supported by Long, and promised church members that he would invest their money in "can't-miss real estate rather than take a risk on Wall Street."

Ten members of New Birth Missionary Baptist are now suing Taylor, the bishop and the church, claiming that Long abused his position and "coerced" his parishioners into investing at least $1 million in Taylor's fund in late 2009.

Taylor is also accused of wire fraud, interstate transportation of stolen property, money laundering, racketeering, violations of the RICO Act and a number of other serious violations, according to the action filed in North Carolina."

Gay Couple Charged With Sexually Abusing Sons

Damn disgrace is all I have to say...

The Hartford Courant reports, "A Glastonbury couple charged with sexually assaulting boys they had adopted over the last decade through the state Department of Children and Families faced a judge for the first time Thursday.

One of the men, Doug Wirth, 43, posted $75,000 bail and was released. His husband, George Harasz, 48, had not posted his $350,000 bail by 5 p.m. Thursday and was turned over to the state Department of Correction.

The couple was arrested Wednesday on sexual assault and other charges after a lengthy investigation started by Glastonbury police after receiving complaints from DCF."
