Should a sperm bank be held liable if they make a mistake with sperm? Let me clarify a bit... Suppose a Chinese couple requested sperm from a Chinese donor so they can produce a Chinese baby but instead they receive sperm from an African donor due to a mix up, should the sperm bank be held liable? Should that couple be able to sue? Check out the following video:
What are your thoughts? Should the couple be able to seek damages for the sperm bank's screw up? Is not being culturally prepared to have a baby of a different race (you didn't intend to have) a solid enough reason for the court to reward the mother damages?
