When 5 year old Jamar Johnson broke a television while playing Wii, his mother Kim Crawford hit him in his back and stomach admittedly harder than she's ever hit him. Her blows caused lacerations to Jamar's pancreas and intestine which became infected and later caused him to die. His death could have probably been prevented had she taken him to the hospital when she saw him vomit after getting hit, but she feared getting in trouble when the doctors would have seen his bruises.
