Think Tank Tuesday 10/7/14: Is The U.S. Government Doing All They Can To Fight Ebola?

Unless you've been under a rock for the past couple of months, you've heard the news about the Ebola virus spreading to different cities in the U.S. Media coverage of the outbreak definitely has people talking. Conspiracy theorists are having a field day with this news. Stories ranging from an ultra evil plot by the U.S. government to kill off black people to the virus being released so corporations and the U.S. government can make an obscene amount of money from selling medicine that will kill the virus to countries affect are all over the web.

Most most people wouldn't give the conspiracy theories the time of day, but when you consider the story of Fatu Katkula the 22 year old woman who single handedly nursed her 3 (out of 4) family members back to health through the Ebola infection; it makes you wonder. Check out Fatu's story here!

Is the U.S. really trying to solve the problem of Ebola? If one woman who lacked the proper medical equipment/resources could save 3 out of 4 of her infected family members, why can't the U.S. be much more effective in dealing with Ebola?
