Will 'Black Panther' Be Boycotted Because of Michael B. Jordan's Non-Black Girlfriend?

Two days into 2018 and foolishness has already shown up. People (obviously with nothing else better to do) have decided that boycotting Marvel's new "Black Panther" movie because actor Michael B. Jordan is dating outside of his race is a good idea. I know what you're thinking foolishness at this level must be from the KKK but believe it or not the rumor mill has it that black women are responsible. Read more here!

Check out the video here:

It's been questioned if the rumors are true or is this the work of an internet troll making fake news become a trending topic.  If the rumor is true, this will prove to be one of the most idiotic things contrived by black folks, trust me on this.  For one, this is the first time in a long time Hollywood has green lighted a big budget movie featuring a predominately black cast that is not a piece about blacks being slaves; in fact it's the total opposite. The black people in the "Black Panther" are free, self sufficient and at the heart of the most technologically advanced society on planet Earth. For black people to boycott this film in any degree it would be nothing less than castration -- albeit figurative but castration nonetheless.

Sabotaging a movie of this magnitude would no doubt prevent future black films of equal or greater budgets and positive images of blacks to never be funded by those good ol' boys Hollywood execs. The last thing we need is for racist Hollywood execs to say, "I told you black films don't sell." If that we're to happen we'd never see another quality black film anytime soon, it'll be back to the stereotypical roles -- pimps, pushers, rapists, whores and thieves. Whether the rumor is true or not, black people and other people of color who are underrepresented in Hollywood need to come out in droves to support and celebrate this movie with the hopes that Hollywood would see our movies and stories actually do matter, are important,  and are good enough to generate a significant amount of money at the box office.
